Michelle Sanchez is originally from Dlo’ayazhi (Thoreau), NM. She now resides in Zuni, NM. Her clans are Áshįįhí (Salt), Dziłtł’ahnii (Mountain Cove), Honágháahnii (One-walks-around clan) and Kinyaa’áanii (Towering House) of the Dine people. Michelle works as the Diabetes Program Assistant at the Zuni Comprehensive Health Care Center. She has supported the clinic with administrative duties since 2012. This is currently her 27th year as a Government Employee. Michelle has an Associates Degree in Business Administration, Bachelors’ Degree in Native American Studies with a minor in Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico. Michelle enjoys running, hiking, biking, reading, and traveling.
